Education:  High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma

Experience Desired: A preferred minimum of three years in loan operations (origination and servicing) and five years in the Financial Services Industry

Pay Range: Moderate Level

Immediate Supervisor:  Loan Operations Manager

Employment Status:  Full time

Shift Hours:  Monday - Friday \ 8:15am - 5:00pm (some overtime required)

Summary objective of the job:

The loan operations area is looking for an experienced loan operations assistant who is a detail-oriented self-starter with exceptional organization skills and a high level of computer knowledge. Being a dependable and reliable employee is a must. A team player who is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done right is the type of person we are looking for. This fast-paced environment is looking for an individual who can hit the ground running. Preference given to candidates with previous LaserPro and Loan Operations experience.

Job Duties
  • Process and prepare secured and unsecured Consumer Loan documents utilizing LaserPro document processing system
  • Knowledge of bank products and refer to the appropriate department
  • Process and prepare Home Equity Line of Credit Documents and prepare for final underwriting.
  • Prepare and file Adverse action notices as directed by Loan Officers
  • Maintain Consumer and Home Equity Loan files and ensure file completion
  • Board consumer loans to the core processing system and perform maintenance issues as needed
  • Assist the Commercial Loan Department with processing and loan boarding as needed
  • Check Consumer and Commercial loan files and upload to the core system
  • Handle customer inquiries, issues and payoff requests by phone, correspondence and person to person
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures
  • Performs various other duties as assigned
