Robert Wysocki

Chairman of the Board

Mr. Wysocki is a retired businessman, having spent more than thirty five years in retail sales.  Mr. Wysocki served in numerous managerial capacities with overall responsibility for real estate, warehousing, distribution, customer service operations and sales. Over his career, Mr. Wysocki has been active in numerous local charitable and community service initiatives. He has served as President of both the Joliet Junior College Foundation and the Will Grundy Free Medical Clinic, and as Chairman of the Board at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center.

 

David T. Stanton

Vice Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer

In his capacity as President & CEO, Mr. Stanton is responsible for PeopleFirstBank’s strategic direction and growth initiatives. His banking career spans over 30 years serving primarily in community banking. Prior to joining PeopleFirstBank, he served as Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer at Oak Lawn Bank. Mr. Stanton began his career as a lender with Devon Bank in Chicago. In the late 1980’s, Dave moved to Beverly Bank, quickly elevating through the ranks to Chief Lending Officer. He later became President of First National Bank of Wilmington, IL (a wholly owned member of Beverly Bancorporation, Inc.) and later, President of Beverly Bank Oak Lawn. In 2001, after the sale of the Beverly Banks, Mr. Stanton accepted a position with Oak Lawn Bank as Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer, Director and Board Secretary. Mr. Stanton was instrumental in forming Oak Lawn Bank, which was eventually sold to First Banks, Inc., a St. Louis, MO bank holding company.

Dave received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from DePaul University, Chicago, IL. Along with his role at PeopleFirstBank, Dave is serving as a Director of the Community Bankers Association of Illinois and Chairman of his church’s finance council. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

 

Ralph Bias

Mr. Bias is a retired businessman, having spent more than thirty years employed by Caterpillar, Inc., where he was engaged in quality control and purchasing for the company. Over his career, Mr. Bias has been actively involved in numerous community organizations. Currently, Mr. Bias serves as Vice Chairman for the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Joliet as well as a Board Chairman for the Salvation Army. Mr. Bias is a veteran of the United States Armed Forces and attended Alcorn State University where he studied Mechanical Engineering.

 

Jack Carlstrom

Mr. Carlstrom is a life-long resident of Will County and has been actively engaged in owning and managing real estate investments throughout the greater Chicago area. Throughout Mr. Carlstrom’s professional career, he has been involved in leadership positions in numerous civic and business organizations. He has served on the Board of Directors of Heritage First National Bank of Lockport, as President of the Joliet West Kiwanis Club, as President of the Advisory Board of Providence Catholic High School and on the Board of Trustees of Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet.

 

Lori Chignoli-Cora

Mrs. Chignoli-Cora and her brothers co-own Chignoli Auto Sales, Inc., a company their father organized in 1974. A Joliet native, Mrs. Chignoli-Cora is a graduate of St. Francis Academy and Lewis University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. She has been licensed as a certified public accountant by the State of Illinois. Mrs. Chignoli-Cora is very active in the community, being involved with the Private Industry Council of Will County, Joliet Area Community Hospice Board, Joliet Junior Catholic Women's Club, and Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

 
 

John J. Dabrowski

John Dabrowski

Director, Executive Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Dabrowski has over 35 years experience in the banking industry with concentrations in accounting, reporting, and compliance. He was employed by Beverly Bancorporation, Inc; a multi-bank holding company organization for 19 years. Prior to joining PeopleFirstBank, he was employed by Devon Bank in Chicago as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He is a graduate of DePaul University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In addition, he is a certified public accountant and a member of the Illinois Society of C.P.A.'s. Currently, Mr. Dabrowski resides in Orland Park where he is a Knight of Columbus and a member of St. Julie Parish where he has assisted in various fund raising and educational programs in the community.

 

Dr. Surendra Gulati

Dr. Gulati has been actively engaged in the private practice of medicine in the Joliet area since 1983, when he started a Neurology practice in the area. Since that time, he has practiced at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center & Silver Cross Hospital, served on various hospital committees and as Secretary-Treasurer at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. He has also served as Director of Neurology and is currently in the process of developing a Neuroscience Institute that will help to provide a very high level of neurological and neurosurgical services in the Joliet community.

 

James Ruzon

Mr. Ruzon is a partner of the accounting firm Wermer, Rogers, Doran, & Ruzon. A Joliet native, Mr. Ruzon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Lewis University and is licensed as a certified public accountant by the State of Illinois. He is actively involved with organizations such as; Lincolnland District Exchange Clubs, Agri-Business Committee of the Illinois CPA Society, Guardian Angel Community Services, Exchange Club of Joliet and is currently President of Inpact Americas.

 

Suryakumar Tanna

Director

Mr. Tanna is currently employed as a sales executive in the Graphics and Printing Plate industry. In addition, he also serves as a seasonal tax professional with H&R Block. He is a graduate of Nagpur University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, and of the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he earned his Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. An Oak Brook, Illinois resident, he has served as a board member of the Will Grundy Medical Clinic in Joliet since 2001.
